| Two days off great, need a break. Only problem, I was only a sleep for an hour, worked last night. I had to go pick up one of our oldest for school, wasn't feeling to well. No problem, I don't mind doing anything for them, my only problem is that I can't get back to sleep. In an hour and a half, I have to go get our youngest from first grade. She loves first grade, but likes it more to ride in the new van. My time of relaxing isn't going to well. hehe Oh well, 2 days off, will be long sleep night for me. Here's a little saying I read not long ago...... "If a train station is where a train stops. What is a work station?" Later, LS | | |

| I can say I have the title of "family man". I got tired of putting money in to my old Grand Am. As well as dealing with never enough space for the family. Yes, before you can think it....I bought a mini-van. Wellll, it's sort of a mini-van. It's a 2008 Grand Caravan, but the size is more like a truck with rear passenger seats. I'd say it's much bigger than any mini-van I have seen. A lot more space than the ones they first tried to show me. Which I think was a waste of time. Let's just say they were lucky. One more vehicle like three they brought up, I was ready to leave. Kellie likes it, she amazed I finally caved in and bought a vehicle big enough for us to ride and is comfortable to. Since it's a 2008 to, I won't have to worry about having to dish out soo much if something goes wrong. I just wish I did this a few weeks ago. I would have saved myself money I wasted putting in to the Grand Am. I don't have to worry about it now, it's no longer my problem. But I am happy,no more hearing the kids argue over who's touching who. The wife is happy to now. She's not crowed and she can do her favorite hobby while we travel. That said and done....less then a week left till the kids return to school. One is ready, our 6 year old, she can't wait to be in 1st grade. The 2 older ones though, hmm are sort of wanting summer to not end. But it does, and parents every where rejoice. hehe The girls are all set for school. Just need to register the 14 yr old for 9th grade. Which is gonne cost us $85, from student ID to book deposit, and buying school shirt and shorts for gym. Hell I may have just had my birthday the 22nd, and being 37, I never remembered needing give the school money when I went in to high school for registering. I guess schools have have changed, our taxes alone isn't enough. I guess it's needed. But one thing, all the kids will now be at school all day. Except for the half days. Breanna can't wait, she's so excited to be in 1st grade and be going all day to school. Kelsey is some what excited to be going in to 9th. I think she realizes that soon she will be done with school, and no longer a young girl. But will be a young woman, and hopefully looking to enter in to college. It may be 10:40 am, but I worked last night. I'm off to bed, have to work tonight, then off Monday & Tuesday. My sort of weekend time. Any ways, take care. Later LS | | |
| Wow haven't done much on here in a Long time. Just working and spending as much time with my daughters till the summer ends. Then they're back to school, not that as a parent it won't happiness. I have tried to spend as much time them this summer then others. Seeing as I work the third shift, it can be hard to spend time with them. I like that I have been having a set scheulde with 2 days off in a row. Grant it, it's mostly Mondays & Tuesdays, sometimes Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Not much to do with days like those off. We do have season passes to Marineland, even that can be old after some time. Can watch dolphins or seals do the same tricks so many times, or ride the same rides over and over. At least seeing we live so close to it, gives that option if we wanted to get out to do something fun. Considering the teenagers still are at the phase, parents aren't cool to hang with, unless they spend money on them. lol Or as in our one teenager, she seems to sleep to 2 or 3 pm. Not sure if I ever slept that long during the summer. Hmm, I did start working at 15 to, if I wanted the type of clothes I liked. Or the music, which was where most of the money I made went to. Our oldest seems to still haven't found a job she likes yet, seeing she's had about 10 jobs in a year now. :) Kelsey, our vampire as I call her, seems to like babysitting. Just wish the money she makes, doesn't go as fast as she gets it. Now clothes she's asking us to get, she could've had if she just saved. In time I'm sure she learn to save for what she'll want, and not depend on us. I have mentioned to her if she wants certain now she batter start saving, seeing there's a month left of summer. Eh, the summer hasn't been to bad, not as hot as last year. Still not as cool either. Seeing that I have these 2 days in row off each week, makes spending with them fun. Never got to do as much last year during the summer with them. Still though, when I want certain days off to do something for Kellz. Such as visit her family up North. My bosses seem to think it's not as important as having to work and cover thier butts. Eh, but that's for another time. Later LS | | |
